No. The contact surfaces are soft-touch polymer, rated below 2H on the Mohs scale. Aluminium and glass are harder than that.
Because that is what it costs. We could explain the supply chain, the hand-inspection process, the colourway research that led us to Tangerine. But ultimately, either you see the value or you browse another website. Both outcomes are fine.
